Among the advantages that the Cloud, as an effective business model, promises to offer is the change in financial paradigms. The shift from a capital-intensive IT model to one that leverages operational costs, reducing costs overall, ensuring greater agility and less management complexity is no small feat.<\/p>\n

It can also be used to shift the focus of IT resources to activities with higher added value for the business, as well as to support business innovation and, potentially, to reduce business risks. A wind of change is blowing in Italy if we consider that the government has allocated 105 million euros for 2020 in the Budget Law, 97 million for each of the years from 2021 to 2024 and 47 million for 2025.<\/p>\n

30% of the increased resources are allocated to supporting technological investments<\/strong>, in big data, cloud computing, ultra-broadband, cybersecurity, advanced robotics and mechatronics, augmented reality, 4D manufacturing, Radio frequency identification and waste tracking and weighing systems. Of this 30%, \u20ac60 million is earmarked for micro and small enterprises investing in Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

What’s more, more than 31% of customers have experienced successful phishing campaigns. With this type of attack, cybercriminals use hacked cloud accounts to send phishing emails within the company: these messages appear trustworthy in the eyes of colleagues, and the attackers change the email forwarding rules or set themselves up as mandates to maintain access to the account.<\/p>\n

Therefore, it is more necessary than ever to rely on experts in the field both in terms of the economic aspect but above all in terms of data security.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

According to Gartner<\/a> , enterprises should look beyond migrating workloads and embrace an approach that involves building cloud-optimized applications. “<\/strong>Many organizations, rather than building a cloud-specific environment from scratch, are first looking at the opportunity to migrate existing workloads to a cloud system and\/or service infrastructure.<\/p>\n
